The maroon and white are looking for their first win against Kingston in their first matinee matchup of the season.

After assisting on Samuel Mayer’s goal in Ottawa on Friday night, Emmett Sproule extended his point streak to 11 games. He is tied with Oshawa’s Ty Tullio for the longest point streak in the OHL. Will he go for 12 this afternoon?

Samuel Mayer is the only Pete to score against Kingston this season.

Fronts’ rookie Matthew Soto is on a seven-game point streak. The fifth overall pick in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection has two goals, nine assists for 11 points. He has three points (1G, 2A) in two games against Peterborough.

Tucker Robertson, who is fifth in OHL scoring, will look to extend his point streak to five games. The Petes Alternate Captain is tied for third in the OHL with four powerplay goals.

Peterborough has 37 goals for, while Kingston has 38. Things change in the goals against as the Petes lead with 52 and the Frontenacs have 31.

Petes’ sixth overall pick in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection, Nick Lardis, is tied for fifth in league scoring amongst rookies. He has four goals, four assists for eight points in 11 games.

Peterborough will be looking to improve their 1-5-0-0 road record.

Captain Shawn Spearing, Cole Patey, and Josh Kavanagh remain out of the lineup.
